An interesting and unusual advertising cake turner or spatula. The cake turner has "EAT WENTZ'S ICE CREAM" on the handle. The cake turner is unmarked but it is most likely made by the Pilgrim Novelty Co. about 1914. The cake turner is tinned sheet metal with a wire handle. It is about 11 1/8 inches long and about 2 13/16 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with some minor wear and spotting. This is a fun item that could be used with both an ice cream cake or birthday cake.
