This is a fantastic early 19th Century blacksmith made pie crimper. This is a very unusual shape for a pie crimper. This one has a large flat end with a small 3/16 inch hand drilled hole for hanging. It is about 7 inches long and 1 3/16 inches at its widest and 1 1/8 inches high. The brass wheel is hand made and notched and is 1 1/8 inches in diameter. This is all hand made and found in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a Manheim estate. Getting hard to find these unusual and rare crimpers.
