This is a fantastic early 19th Century blacksmith made wrought iron pie crimper. This is a very unusual hand made wrought iron pie crimper. It is about 6 7/8 inches long and 1 3/4 inches at its widest and 1 5/8 inches high. The wrought iron wheel is hand made and notched and is 1 5/8 inches in diameter. The tail end is serrated by hand made v notches at the end as an additional crimping tool. This is all hand made and was found in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a Manheim estate. Getting hard to find these unusual and rare crimpers.
