SIGNED KUTZLER SEWING OR QUILTING WROUGHT IRON CLAMPS

Wonderful set of figural thumb screw wrought iron sewing or quilting clamps. Two of the clamps are signed W. H. KUTZLER. Each of the clamps has a different design on the thumb screw (see pics). The C body is squared off with a design and the bottom of the C has been grooved and may have been used as a thread cutter. The clamps are wrought iron and from the 19th Century. They are 3 11/16 inches long and about 2 1/8 inches wide. The screws are about 2 3/4 inches long and the designs vary in width. The set of four is in excellent condition. A fantastic set of sewing clamps with a great folk art look.
