SALESMAN'S SAMPLE SHADED GRANITEWARE WASH BASIN

A very nice true salesman's sample item. This wash basin is marked "SAMPLE FROM THE STRONG MFG. CO. SEBRING, OHIO." It is white on the inside and shaded dark to light blue on the exterior. It is 3 5/8 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches deep. In The Collector's Encyclopedia of Granite Ware Book 2 by Helen Greguire this wash basin is illustrated in Section 20 pages 319 & 321. It is listed as an extremely rare color, shape and size. There are nine small edge nicks and some minor wear on bottom.
