Nice early 19th C. brilliant flint whale oil lamp in the very popular "STAR AND PUNTY" pattern. The high standard lamp is 11 inches high and its base is 4 1/2 inches wide from point to point. Has a brass collar. In excellent condition with one tiny under inner rim foot flake. There is also an in the making line that looks like a white scratch that runs from the collar to the lower part of the dome before the pattern starts. This is a beautiful lamp. Nice and clean with no discoloration or cloudiness.
