PEWTER OIL STAND LAMP c.1840s

Very nice pewter whale oil stand lamp. The font is a combination cylinder and lozenge . The lamp is just under 7 1/4 inches high and the foot is 4 5/8 inches in diameter. Has a double whale oil burner. The only markings is the number "13" impressed in the base. The collar is brass which is common for lamps of the 1840s-1850s period and is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches for the interior.
