this is a very nice scarce patent dated oil lamp. Patent dated July 1872, the lamp was made by Adams & Company. It is 16 inches high to top of chimney and about 8 1/4 inches high to top of collar. This lamp is all clear glass. The patent date is in the groove on the top of the font. The burner is marked "ELDORADO - W & G CORP." The lamp is in excellent condition and is not chipped, cracked, or nicked. The glass is clear and is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. The chimney is an old one but there is a minor small flat chip under the ruffled edge. This is a nice scarce patent dated lamp.
