An attractive yellow ware mixing bowl with brown bands. Made by the National Pottery Company about 1900, the bowl is 3 5/8 inches high and 8 1/4 inches in diameter. The bowl has a raised rim with a thin followed by a thick then thin again brown lines. It has that nice dark mustard color similar to Guldens. The bowl is impressed National on the base but is hard to read. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or nicks. Some minor typical crazing and a small crows foot (glaze surface) on the underside that does not go through. A very nice usable bowl in the the popular yellow ware series.
