This is a lovely Staffordshire child's plate. The central black transfer scene is a Shepherdess with her flock. The plates boarder has sprays of fern fronds and a flower. The plate is unmarked as to maker but is from the Staffordshire district and made in the 19th Century. The plate is 5 3/4 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. The plate is also very clean and is not sick, stained or discolored. This is a beautiful child's plate.
