A beautiful light green transferware plate in the lovely "ROSE AND CHAIN" pattern. This plate was made about 1840 and is 8 3/4 inches in diameter. It is marked on the back with the pattern name, Imperial Stone and JR-CP all within a large multi-pointed star and belt. The pattern consists of a large spray of roses in the center with a boarder pattern of a fancy chain and feathery sprays. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or nicks. There are a few minor crazing lines. A very nice plate that displays well.
