An unusual white ironstone waste bowl in the "GOTHIC CAMEO" or "GOTHIC" pattern. Made in the 1850s by many companies such as J. Wedgwood, Davenport, John Alcock and James Edwards. The waste bowl is very simple and plain except for the two cameo portraits. The bowl is about 4 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. The item is clean and has no crazing or staining. There is however some minor rubbing on the noses from use and storage.
