An interesting design of 1840s is this Feather Flowers Variant plate. Made by Ridgway & Morley, the plate is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Made on a heavy ironstone body, its border consists of a feathery branches with green and mustard colored flowers. The design is repeated in the center of the plate. It is in excellent condition free of chips and cracks. there is one tint flake on the foot ring on back. There is no crazing.
