An interesting design of 1840s is this Feather Flowers plate. Made by Ridgway & Morley, the plate is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Made on a heavy ironstone body, its border consists of a feathery branches with green, blue and mustard colored flowers. The design is repeated in the center of the plate. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks and nicks. There is no crazing.
