A fantastic clear flint spill in the scarce and early "SANDWICH STAR" pattern. Made in the 1850s by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. The spill is a brilliant flint and is 5 1/4 inches high and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or nicks; however there is one teeny inner rim flake. The glass is clear and not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. This spill is very clear and shows no use wear marks from being used a spooner. This is a very nice high quality example of this pattern.
