OUR COUNTRY'S MARTYRS MUG BY ADAMS & CO. 1881

A small clear mug with portraits of American assassinated presidents Lincoln and Garfield. Made in 1881 by Adams & Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. The mug has a bust of Lincoln on one side between the words "Born Feb. 12th 1809 - Assassinated April 14th 1865." Below his bust is "Died April 15th 1865" and "Lincoln" below this. The other side has a bust of Garfield between the words "Born Nov. 19th 1831 - Assassinated July 2nd 1881." Below his bust is "Died Sept. 19th 1881" and "Garfield" below this. The base is embossed with "Our Country's Martyrs." The mug is 2 5/8 inches high, 2 5/8 inches in diameter and about 3 7/8 inches long. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nicks.
