A beautifully designed high standard covered compote in the very popular "MULTIPLE FRUITS" or "STRAWBERRY AND CURRANT" pattern. Made by Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton of Findlay, Ohio in the 1890s. The compote is about 11 1/2 inches high and 8 1/4 inches in diameter. The compote has strawberries and loganberries on the lid and the bowl has currants, goose berries and peaches. It is beautifully designed. The compote is in excellent condition free of chips and cracks. The base is perfect. The lid has a few teeny little inner rim flakes from being banged around the corner cupboard we found it in. This is a great compote in a lovely pattern.
