MITRED FRIEZE TRUE OPEN COMPOTE BY

An unusual and scarce pattern true open compote in "MITRED FRIEZE." Made in 1888 by Columbia Glass Company of Findlay, Ohio the pattern was originally known as Eldorado. The pattern is an expansion on the FINE CUT family with a nicely scalloped rim, patterned stem and nine sided foot. The compote is 6 5/8 inches high and about 6 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. The glass is very clear and is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. A very nice true open compote in a hard to find Findlay pattern.
