LIBERTY BELL RARE HAYES WHEELER MUG

A very rare political child's mug in the very popular "LIBERTY BELL" pattern. Made in 1876 by Adams & Company and produced on the Centennial Exposition fairgrounds. The mug has a large Liberty Bell on each side and on one is "HAYES" and the other side is "WHEELER." The mug is 2 inches high, 2 3/8 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches in diameter. On the base it is marked "ADAMS & CO. GLASS WORKS." The mug is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or nicks. A very rare political item from the Centennial.
