HOBB'S #87 MILK WHITE SYRUP BY HOBBS, BROCKUNIER c.1885

A beautiful milk white opaque syrup in the rare "HOBBS 87" pattern. Made in 1885 by the Hobbs, Brockunier & Company of Wheeling, West Virginia. The syrup has a Britannia lid that has a patent date April 4, 1876. The syrup is 7 1/2 inches high, about 4 1/2 inches wide and has a base diameter of 3 5/8 inches. It is in excellent condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. The glass is a nice quality and is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. The lid still retains traces of its original tin plating. This is a wonderful syrup in a good pattern.
