GOOSEBERRY MILK WHITE OPAQUE CREAMER BY HOBBS, BROCKUNIER & COMPANY c.1870
Very nice table creamer in the hard to find "GOOSEBERRY" pattern. Though it was originally attributed to Boston & Sandwich it is now known that the pattern was made in 1870 by Hobbs, Brockunier & Company. The milk white opaque creamer is about 4 1/4 inches high and 5 5/8 inches wide from lip to handle. This is the same creamer we photographed for our book "Early American Pattern Glass - Collector's Identification & Price Guide" by Reilly & Jenks. The creamer is in excellent condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. The glass is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. A very nice table creamer in one of the early fruit patterns.
