An unusual and scarce footed master salt in the very popular "FROSTED CHICKEN" pattern. Made in 1883 by Riverside Glass. The maker has just been discovered within the last few years when an original catalog surfaced. The salt is 3 inches square and 2 1/4 inches high. It is in outstanding condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. The salt has not been damaged from use by being hit with a knife blade or spoon to loosen hardened salt. The glass is very clear and is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. A very nice scarce salt in a very popular pattern.
