A very rare form in the ever-popular "FINECUT AND BLOCK" pattern. Made by King, Son & Company in 1890. The butter is covered is handled and has an attached liner. The butter is about 5 1/2 inches high to top of the finial. The attached plate is about 7 7/8 inches in diameter and 9 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle. The bowl section is 6 1/2 inches in diameter and the lid is 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The butter is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The bowl section has two minor flakes on the pointed tips. The plate has one teeny side flake on one tip. These are all very tiny and have top be felt. This is another piece that Bill & I have not seen before in the pattern. A rare and unusual form and worthy of any collection.
