A lovely covered butter dish in the very popular "DEER AND PINETREE" pattern. made by McKee Bros. in 1886. The covered butter is 6 1/2 inches long, 5 1/4 inches wide and about 5 3/8 inches high to top of finial. The butter is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks and repairs. There are a few no harm flat flakes on butter rim where the lid sits. It is very common to find flat flakes and chips on this pattern. A great covered butter with a strong design impression.
