A very nice covered high standard jelly compote in the ever-popular "DAKOTA" pattern. Made by Ripley & Company in 1885, this pattern has always been considered part of the states series. The compote has the very popular "Fern & Berry" etching. The compote is 8 5/8 inches high to top of finial and just over 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition being free of chips, cracks or nicks. The glass is very clear and is not sick, cloudy, discolored, grey or sun colored. A very nice hard to find small size covered jelly compote in Dakota.
