COTTAGE COVERED BUTTER BY ADAMS c.1874

A very nice covered butter dish in the popular "COTTAGE" pattern. The pattern was introduced in 1874 by Adams & Company of Pittsburgh, PA. The flat covered butter is about 6 5/8 inches in diameter and 5 inches high to top of finial. Butter is in very good condition free of chips, cracks and nicks.
