Here is a fantastic very rare clear footed tumbler in the ever popular and highly sought after "BELLFLOWER" pattern. Produced in the 1860s, the pattern has been attributed to the McKee Bros. factory of Pittsburgh, PA. This tumbler is typical of this style with a slight gray cast to the glass and of poor flint quality. The tumbler is of the Fine Rib - Double Vine variation which is typical of McKee Bros. The tumbler is 4 3/4 inches high and just over 3 1/4 inches in diameter, this example is well pressed with a strong design and in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or nicks.
