BANDED RAINDROP CUP AND SAUCER SET c.1880s

An usual item in pattern glass is this punch or sherbet cup and saucer set in the "BANDED RAINDROP" pattern. Made in the 1880s, the original manufacturer is unknown at this time. The cup is 2 3/8 inches high, about 3 1/2 inches long from rim to handle and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup has two teeny inner rim flakes. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. This is a lovely set in an interesting pattern.
