Wonderful clear with frosting water tankard pitcher in the very popular and highly sought after "ARTICHOKE" pattern. Made by the Fostoria Glass Company in 1891. The tankard is about 11 1/2 inches high to top of spout, about 6 3/4 inches wide and a base diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The pitcher is in excellent condition and is free of chips, cracks or nicks. There is one annealing line or straw mark on base. The glass is clear and not sick, discolored, sun colored or have chemical deposits. There are a few bubbles in the glass  3 or four teeny tiny black specks from the making. A very nice tall tankard in a popular pattern. Glass looks cloudy in picture because it was slightly dusted so it would photograph. This is a nice clear pitcher.
