WONDERFUL DOLL'S RED PAINT DECORATED

This is a fantastic doll's chair in original paint and decoration. The chair is red with mustard pin striping and a free hand star design on seat outlined in a shield. The chair is 17 1/8 inches high, a seat height of 7 3/4 inches and 8 1/4 inches wide. The original decoration on the slat is a decal of a dogs head and looks to be either a Swiss Mountain Dog or Cavalier Spaniel. The chair is from Pennsylvania and dates from the 1840s to about 1860. It is in great condition with no breaks, looses or repairs. The paint is in excellent condition with that great natural 150+ years wear you like to see on the edges. This is a fantastic child's chair. How adorable it would be for that special Teddy Bear or Rag Doll.
