This wonderful early 19th Century Delaware Valley child's lollypop chair has two lollypop -shaped splats in the back. Made of maple and ash, it still retains its original rush seat. It is 15 1/2 inches high, 10 3/4 inches wide, 8 1/4 inches deep and its seat height is 7 1/8 inches. In outstanding condition, it has two nicely turned caps on the front legs and the side seat rails are mortised through the back. There are wooden pegs on the left side. Nice and early and retaining an old finish, it also shows lots of wear that you like to see in these early children's chairs.
