A very nice pair of ethnic DUTCH boy and girl celluloid dolls. The wonderful pair was made in Germany in the late 1920s-1930s. They have the "SCHUTZ-MARKE" or "TURTLE" in a diamond mark on their backs. Both dolls are about 7 5/8 inches high. The color is fantastic and they are in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks, dents or nicks. The arms are a bit loose and need the strings tightened. Spot on front of girls dress was a fingerprint smudge that has been removed. Boy has part of store label on back.
