An attractive yellow painted sap bucket or pail. Made in the later half of the 19thC. The bucket retains its original pale yellow paint. It is 6 5/8 inches high to top of rim, about 11 1/2 inches high to top of handle and the top diameter is about 10 inches. The bucket shows some wear on the paint and the metal bands have some minor rusting and pitting. Interior is clean except for a water line. There is a small break on rim (3/4 inches deep and 2 1/2 inches long). Looks like it may have been dropped or possibly kicked by a farm animal. The wood is not broken loose just cracked on the outside. Overall the condition is very nice on this yellow sap bucket or pail.
