TURNED WALNUT LARGE BEEHIVE BOWL

This is a fantastic large turned walnut beehive bowl. Late 18th to early 19th Century, the bowl is out of round and is 18 3/4 to 19 1/2 inches in diameter. It is about 5 3/4 inches high with a 1 1/2 inch large lip and a 6" foot ring. It is in excellent shape with no damage and has a wonderful natural patina. The walnut graining is very nice on this item with great color. The interior of the bowl has that nice uneven feel we like to see in early hand turned bowls. Bowl is very nice displays well.
