Fantastic butter mold and stamp in a rosette pattern. This walnut mold was made in the mid to late 19th Century and consists of the square mold and a two-piece stamp or press. The handle unscrews from the base and is all wood for easy cleaning. The mold is 3 1/8 inch square and the nicely carved stamp portion is 2 5/8 inch square. It is approximately 5 1/4 inches high. Refinished many years ago, the mold is in excellent condition with only a tiny chip as seen in PIC#1 and #4 while the handle has a small section off where the grain ran and is squared off a little.
