This is a wonderful two gallon crock from the Red Wing Pottery Company of Minnesota. Made in the 1890s-1920s. The crock is 9 7/8 inches high and 9 3/8 inches in diameter. It is stamped with a number "2", a red "red wing" the company logo and a blue cartouche with "BEU MINE POTTERIES RED WING MINN." The cartouche is hard to read.  The crock is in excellent condition but has some minor manufacturing imperfections in the glaze that is typical. There is a small 7/8 by 1/8 inch chip in the glaze as seen in the bottom photo. It looks much worse in the picture then in person. When sitting on the floor its hard to see. It is in the ten o'clock position if looking at the logos.
